Videographer & Editor
Hello and welcome! I’m a freelance filmmaker based in central Iowa. My passion for filmmaking and camera operation began in high school when I got my first GoPro and discovered the joy of creating action-packed videos from local adventures.
Before pursuing filmmaking, I studied Urban Planning at Iowa State University and worked as an active transportation planner for a firm in Pennsylvania. After two wonderful years there, I moved to Utah, where I learned how to use a professional camera at a local college. My passion for storytelling through film continued to grow, and later that year, I began documenting the operations of Living Lands and Waters, an industrial-scale river cleanup nonprofit. This unique opportunity allowed me to live part-time on a barge on the Mississippi River while capturing their impactful work.
Fueled by a love for adrenaline sports, outdoor adventures, and authentic connections, I’m always seeking new opportunities to bring my camera into exciting and dynamic environments. When I’m not behind the camera or editing footage, you’ll likely find me mountain biking, kayaking, or inline skating.
